Yahoo! is definitely not going to sit still and just watched others growing like a monster. They already started with a change and that said they've started with their company logo. There has been more intense changes when it comes to the font and color of the company's logo. They didn't get rid of totally with the purple color and so with the exclamation point.

The design was more to show some depth and shadow effect to their logo, it has a more intense purple color. And somewhat 3D effect that stands out.

What makes it more interesting is when you open Yahoo, you'll see the exclamation point seems to be dancing. It was quite fun to look at.
It's indeed a good move for yahoo and with the effort of its CEO Marissa Mayer and together with their team. It goes to show that they are moving forward together with their products.
Prominent big companies has also changed their logo early this year such as Ebay and Microsoft and now its Yahoo!.
Change is inevitable and if ever we would decide to have a change lets decide also to change for the better. And I believe this is what Yahoo proved with their newest logo.
